Department of Civil Engineering has been involved in various social welfare during past years. We provided the help required in major and minor disaster. Flood is one of the natural disasters which occurs every year in our country in varying scale. During the flood, huge number of people lost their shelter as well as in need of food. During such disaster, students of Civil Engineering collect and distributed food among the people who are in need.
Winter season is one of the six seasons in Bangladesh. Chilly winter last only two months in a year. That’s why our shelters are being constructed to provide sufficient air flow during the hot summer. When the temperature got bellow 15 degree in Celsius, chill becomes unbearable for the people who does not have sufficient cloths. So, people are in need of clothing for winter during these times. Student comes forward, collected the used cloths from the other students, teachers and the people who can spare some cloths and take them to the people who are in need and distributed them with outmost proficiency.
