Head of Civil Engineering

Sagor Kumar Podder

Sagor Kumar Podder has been employed as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh since January, 2009. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor, fulfilling additional roles as a member of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). He has 15 years teaching experience in the area of Civil Engineering.

He is currently pursuing PhD in Structural Engineering at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He has completed his M.Sc degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET). His M.Sc research was on Development of the mix proportions of Ultra High- Performance Concrete (UHPC) in the context of Bangladesh. He has completed his B.Sc degree in Civil Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) in 2007. His B.Sc research was on a relative study on the toughness of the fiber reinforced mortar.
