Short Biography:

Ahmed Sajid Hasan is working as a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering in World University of Bangladesh since August 1, 2015. He is Graduated (B.Sc)in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Prior to that, he completed his SSC and HSC from Comilla Cadet College . He has done his Masters (M.Sc) in Civil & Environmental Engineering at BUET. He was a Reserach Assistant at HELIX (High End cLimate Impacts and eXtremes) project at Institute of Water and Flood Management of BUET from November 2015 to September 2017 which is funded by the European Union (EU). Mr. Sajid has an expertise in running hydrologic and agricultural models. He has got the skills in Statistical Analytical tools: R and MATLAB. He has also done a lot of geospatial analysis using GIS. His areas of interest are : Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Transportation Engineering, Agriculture and Climate Change. Mr. Sajid has attended three international conferences and three expert workshops where he presented his own reseach work. He has successfully completed professional training program for academic staff organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell(IQAC) with financial and technical assistance from the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh(UGC), World Bank and W.U.B. He was the sub-editor of the math magazine Pi from 'Zero to Infinity' during his undergraduate period when he wrote many articles on Mathematics. He achieved the government merit scholarships due to his outstanding results in SSC and HSC from Comilla Education Board during 2006 and 2008 respectively. Mr Sajid is dreaming of becoming a sincere researcher and academician in future.
