Md. Samiul Karim Khan completed his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in March 2025, with a major in Transportation Engineering and a minor in Structural Engineering. On 22 September 2025, he began his academic career as a Lecturer in the Department of Civil Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh.
During his undergraduate studies, he was actively involved in leadership and professional development, serving as the President of the ITE BUET Student Chapter. His primary research interests include road safety, public transportation systems, and traffic psychology. Since his senior undergraduate years, he has been deeply engaged in research, working on projects such as pedestrian crash analysis and transportation planning, and has published a conference paper.
Alongside his teaching responsibilities, he remains committed to advancing research in transportation engineering, with a long-term goal of enhancing road safety and promoting sustainable mobility both in Bangladesh and internationally.
