Biography

Md. Abtahi Rabby is a Lecturer and Department Coordinator in the Department of Civil Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh, a passionate and skilled academic with expertise in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He earned his BSc in Civil and Environmental Engineering from North South University and is currently pursuing an MSc in Construction Project Management at the University of South Wales, UK, with a strong academic track record.

As a Research Assistant at North South University, he contributed to significant academic projects, including pioneering studies on sustainability in construction. His research, which includes topics such as reusing waste plastics in road construction and resource recovery from municipal solid waste, has been featured in renowned platforms like the ASCE Library and international conferences such as SUM 2022.

Abtahi’s technical proficiency includes advanced tools like AutoCAD, Revit (3D BIM), STAAD Pro, and Microsoft Project, which enable him to lead innovative design and project management initiatives effectively. He also excels in data analysis and team leadership, making him an asset to the academic and professional communities.

At World University Bangladesh, Abtahi is devoted to cultivating a dynamic and engaging learning environment, integrating research-driven insights with practical applications to prepare students for real-world challenges. He strongly believes in mentoring and guiding students to unlock their full potential, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.
