Biography

Passionate educator and academic leader with over 14+ years of higher education experience across India, Ethiopia, Bangladesh, and UK-linked academic engagements. Currently serving as an associate professor in construction management at the World University of Bangladesh, with extensive experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, curriculum development, academic administration, student mentoring, assessment, and research supervision. My teaching expertise spans construction project management, quantity surveying, construction materials, concrete technology, construction economics, building information modeling (BIM), and smart and sustainable construction. I am committed to student-centered, experiential, and outcome-oriented learning, integrating practical applications and industry-relevant digital tools to create engaging and inclusive learning environments. My research focuses primarily on sustainable construction materials, sustainable concrete, concrete durability and permeability, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) blocks, and sustainable construction technologies. My work aims to develop resource-efficient and environmentally responsible solutions for the construction sector. I have contributed to research through 30 journal publications, 5+ academic books, book chapters, conference papers, patents, and funded research projects. I have undertaken significant academic leadership and service responsibilities, including curriculum development, thesis supervision and evaluation, examination and question-paper moderation, quality assurance, departmental governance, SDG-related initiatives, WURI ranking activities, and research funding proposals. I have also contributed to student development through academic mentoring, professional activities, software-training initiatives, and departmental programs. My academic contributions have been recognized through awards and certificates of appreciation, including recognition from the university president and the Indian Embassy. I am actively engaged in the international scholarly community through journal editorial and peer-review activities; professional memberships (CIOB, AHEF, C.Engg., IEI); research collaboration; and academic conferences.
