Biography

Hamidur Rahaman has been serving as a faculty member in the Department of Civil Engineering at the World University of Bangladesh since January 2018. He completed his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from the World University of Bangladesh. He currently holds the position of Lecturer and teaches courses on Transport and Traffic Design, Highway Engineering, Railway Engineering, and Transportation Engineering Laboratory.

In addition to his academic role, Mr. Rahaman is actively engaged in the professional field as an Assistant Manager (Technical) at a reputed construction company in Bangladesh. In this capacity, he oversees technical supervision, quality control, and project coordination for various civil and infrastructural developments, including telecommunication projects. His dual involvement in academia and industry allows him to bridge the gap between engineering education and field practice, enhancing both his teaching effectiveness and professional expertise.
