Engineering Drawing Lab

This lab bridges conceptual design and technical documentation. Students develop foundational drafting skills—both manual and digital—essential for communicating civil engineering designs with clarity and precision.

Key Activities

• Create orthographic projections, isometric views, and sectional drawings by hand.
• Produce detailed construction drawings of foundations, beams, slabs, and staircases.
• Master AutoCAD for 2D drafting and annotation standards (IS 11669, ISO).
• Interpret and generate building plans, elevation, and site layouts.
• Integrate dimensioning, tolerancing, and material specifications into technical sheets.
